The Latinas in STEM pipeline begins with inspiring K-12 students to pursue STEM careers and to empower parents with knowledge so that they may help their daughters achieve their goals. Inspiration comes from activities such as our signature STEM 101 conference, speaking engagements, and after school and summer programs.​

As part of our mission to continue the STEM pipeline, Latinas in STEM is developing mentorship and leadership college programs. We are working towards developing these programs with both community colleges and
​four- year institutions. Our college aged members are integral to the pipeline as they volunteer time with K-12 outreach and receive guidance from our professional members.

Latinas in STEM's pipeline culminates at the professional level. We work with early to mid career professionals to help them thrive and advance in their careers via mentorship, webinars, and blogging. 

A professional-based membership ensures that our network will expand across the nation and enables us to reach more students each year. Our professional members promote the mission of this organization. They serve as role models to K-12 students and to our college members.
